Purpose of membership services

​

The Papua New Guinea China Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce is based on independent non-profit institutions in China, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea.

The General Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2019. The goal is to provide members with a win-win cooperation platform to solve problems and opportunities arising from cooperation in trade and investment in Papua New Guinea, China and even Asia. It provides investors and the private sector with a highly political communication platform with the Chinese and Papua New Guinea governments, and also provides other business networks for his members to achieve more goals.

The members of the Chamber of Commerce are from a wide range of industries and fields and are widely represented.

Including investment, banking, finance, information technology, manufacturing, trade, petroleum and petrochemical, tobacco, food, shipping, air transport, tourism, agriculture, consulting, media, management, accounting and legal services. Both from large companies and small companies.

•    1. Organise members of the General Chamber of Commerce, social elites, and political leaders and entrepreneurs from all countries to participate in international exchange activities, discuss development opportunities, and offer suggestions to the government to help the government and entrepreneurs to achieve win-win results;

A-level members

Admission fee USD$200,000 (including the first year annual fee), annual fee of 60,000, can be elected as a member of the presidium, and later become the honorary chairman of the founding, enjoy the rights

A-level members can enjoy the following rights:

•    1. Participate in the honorary presidium members and political leaders of various countries to participate in international exchange activities and discuss cooperation opportunities and development opportunities between China and Pakistan;
•    2. Visiting and visiting the member countries of the Chamber of Commerce to enjoy the top royal VIP privileges;
•    3. Arrange two first-class business class trips to inspect high-quality project investment opportunities and participate in the International Chamber of Commerce Summit.
•    4. Arrange for free to attend a party or reception for more than two luxury yachts or high-level clubs each year. Help with business promotion, entertaining investors or private parties. The General Chamber of Commerce may arrange for organisation assistance and promotion;
•    5. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry magazine provides a column introduction. The Chamber of Commerce will provide exclusive processing space, provide secretaries to handle federations and private affairs, provide exclusive display areas, and communicate with political figures of various countries;
•    6. Participate in the promotion of industrial investment opportunities of the Chamber of Commerce and enjoy the distribution of excess returns of successful enterprises.
•    7. Give priority to participate in the establishment of industrial investment funds and obtain an ideal return on investment. At the same time, the investment fund is the investment financing for the development of the member industry. It is the initiator, and initiates the establishment and leadership of the relevant professional committees of the company to lead the development of the industry;
•    8. Cooperate with member governments to discuss investment cooperation and development opportunities. Prioritise participation in outstanding investment projects of member countries. Cooperate with Member States on supportive policies, regulatory construction and regulatory consultations;

Admission fee USD 10,000 (including the first year annual fee), annual fee 3,000 (partial activities for the second year is paid service), can be elected as a member, members enjoy the rights
       D-level members can enjoy the following rights:
•    1. Participate in the international exchange activities of the Chamber of Commerce, and obtain cooperation and development opportunities between China and Pakistan;
•    , Countries go to the members of the Chamber of Commerce study visits;
•    Each year , we will arrange a free visit to high-quality project investment opportunities and participate in the International Chamber of Commerce Summit.
•    , Arranged free of charge each year to participate in a luxury yacht or senior clubs hold meetings or conferences;
•    , Receive a free journal Chamber of Commerce magazine, paid column presentations or provide advertising space.
•   Involved in the initiation Chamber of Commerce industrial investment opportunities to enjoy the success of the enterprise excess return distribution.
• Participation initiated the establishment of industrial investment funds, won over the return on investment companies to participate in professional committees related industries, leading the development of the industry;
•  With the Governments of Member States to jointly invest cooperation and development opportunities. Prioritise participation in outstanding investment projects of member countries. Cooperate with Member States to support policies, regulations, and regulatory consultations; for companies that have significant influence and contribution to the development of China-Papua New Guinea new economy, they can apply for upgrade services. Individual members can pay an annual fee to become a founding member.

Application conditions

The membership application conditions are as follows:

•    1. Honorary Presidium (5 people)
•    2. Honorary Vice-President Unit (5)
•    3. Vice-President Group (5 people)
•    4. Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman (20 members)
•    5. Board members (50 people)

Application Procedure

​

The member declaration process is as follows:

•    1. The members of the Chamber of Commerce are recommended by the founding members, submit the application for membership, and pay the application fee/annual fee;
•    2. The application is reviewed by the General Chamber of Commerce;
•    3. After the application has been reviewed, the applicant will be notified by the Secretariat if it meets the requirements of the member.
•    4. Pay the first remaining fee to the General Chamber of Commerce;
•    5. Signing the "Meeting Agreement" with the Federation , and the honorary certificate and the appointment letter will be issued by the VIP leader at the inaugural meeting;
•    6. Those who formally obtain membership can enjoy the rights and obligations stipulated by the Chamber of Commerce within the validity period;
•    7. When the application is full, the applicant is approved as a candidate member and can accept the invitation to participate in the event. When the quota is vacant or when the quota is decided to be increased, it will be converted into a full member.
•    8. The membership quota can only be transferred and must be submitted to the Federation.
